We invite you to immerse yourself in a fascinating and authentic experience on our farm, where you’ll not only learn the art of milking but also witness the entire process up close and taste the fruits of your labor, with a delicious optional reward!

Your journey will start with a warm welcome to our rural space, where our experts will share with you the fundamentals and history of milking. You’ll learn about the importance of this practice and its role in producing fresh, high-quality milk directly from our cherished cows.

After an enriching introduction, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on milking experience. Guided by our trained team, you will dive into the process, from preparation to the actual action, feeling a unique connection with our animals and the land.

But the experience doesn’t end there. After learning and participating in milking, we invite you to a detailed exploration of the entire milk treatment process. Accompanied by our specialists, you’ll discover how freshly milked milk is processed and transformed into a safe and delicious product, ready to be enjoyed.

And here comes the icing on the cake: as an option, we offer you the chance to indulge in a classic and tasty combination. Along with your experience, you can choose to receive a special gift: a package of traditional gofio, a perfect complement to your fresh milk. Gofio, deeply rooted in the local culture, will enhance your experience by providing an authentic connection to the region.

This experience will leave you not only with a deeper understanding of milking and milk production but also with a sense of connection to local tradition and unparalleled satisfaction from having actively participated in each stage. Your time on our farm will be a lasting memory, filled with learning, excitement, and, of course, a delicious and authentic touch.

*Activity schedule: We estimate it to be between 09:00h or 10:00h, as we adapt to the goats for this. We will specify this when you book.

At La Jaira de Ana, we understand that plans can change. That’s why we want our cancellation policy to be clear for everyone:

• 5 days’ notice or more: a 40% penalty of the total activity price will apply.
• Less than 5 days’ and more than 24 hours’ notice: a 60% penalty of the total activity price will apply.
• Less than 24 hours’ notice: a 100% penalty will apply (no refund).
